The Carolina Hurricanes First Goal Program is a league-wide initiative and partnership between the Carolina Hurricanes, the National Hockey League, and the National Hockey League Players' Association. The initiative provides first-time participants (boys and girls) aged 5-10 with hockey equipment and the opportunity to enjoy instructional hockey sessions. The 2024 program is sponsored by Invisalign, UNC Health, & Carolina Hurricanes forward, #37 Andrei Svechnikov.
The Hurricanes First Goal Program is BACK for the Summer of 2024! Registration Date May 1st @ 12:01am.
We are dedicated to providing another Gold Standard learn-to-play hockey program during the Summer of 2024 and can't wait to introduce your child to our amazing sport!
In preparation for First Goal and the introduction to hockey skills, we strongly recommend completing a Learn to Skate program at any of the local rinks.
