The Canes Power Skating clinic gives an opportunity for our younger players to experience an elite power skating program at PNC Arena, the home of the Carolina Hurricanes. The five-session clinic takes place in late-June each year.
Each day, players will receive a one-hour session with elite skating coach Ryan DuPraw. DuPraw has an extensive background training elite hockey players and was the skating coach for the ECHL’s Florida Everblades for three years. The skills learned at these ages will have a very significant effect on the level of play that is ultimately achieved in the player's future, with skating being the #1 skill needed to develop!
